If humanity WILL invent a time machine that allows people to travel back in time, then humanity already HAS invented a time machine. Future/present/past are outmoded concepts if travel between them is possible.

I have come to same conclusion. If I invented a time machine and went back in time, I would know how to build another one, and travel again, and other people would travel, until so much travel were occurring at the same time, time travel would be overlapping time travel.

And no one would be able to travel to a time or place that was not completely inundated with endless time travelers, which would make any resemblance to our reality as we know it mute. So either time is a constant state of infinite amount of travelers where time does not exist or
