It's not just PhDs. Going to college was the biggest mistake of my life. I've never had a job that required a college degree. I wasted years that I could have been developing professionally. I'm still paying off loans. And oh yeah, I learn more on my own than I ever did there.

Epidemiologists are better at predicting the spread of a virus than I am. However, the economic, psychological, and legal impacts of their proposals are also factors that need to be considered. It's our responsibility as educated citizens to weigh all those things, not just one.
