The fact that @BernieSanders is a socialist means he must never be installed as dictator. It is not, however, a strong argument against electing him President.

Especially since it means we'll almost definitely have a firmly Republican Senate alongside him that does everything in its rather expansive power to prevent him from being dictatorial in any way.

Fairly interesting from my perspective to see someone running for Congress who doesn't believe in the American system of government.

I do believe in it. Sanders I’m not so sure of. His fellow socialists I know don’t. The constitution is not magic. It only restrains power as long as those in positions of power remain committed to it.
