Finland has 187 888 lakes. And it's closer. And it has freedom to roam.
Looks like Finland defines a lake as 500 square meters. That's not a lake, it's a pond. In Minnesota we don't consider something a lake until it's over 40,000 square meters. Another plus side to Minnesota, more Swedes ;)

Aha but Finland is more than 10 % lakes. Even if you only count the lakes bigger than one acre, the amount is 56 000. And, freedom to roam so you can visit any of them and nobody will shoot you. I too would see it a plus side for us if Minnesota was the one that had more Swedes.
