This isn't dementia. It's just age. He doesn't actually BELIEVE he's running for senate. He's just exhausted and falling back onto habitual words and phrases. He's likely to forget where he put his keys. Someone with dementia will keep their keys in a sock in the refrigerator.

I spent years volunteering in a nursing home. I’ve had family members with dementia. I studied psychology in college, for what it’s worth. There’s a huge difference between declining mental performance and dementia. Biden is clearly showing age, not signs of dementia.
