In her defense, you don't have to agree with your friends to be friends with them, but I will say that the kinds of people you surround yourself with are a reflection of who you are.

whether or not minorities are equal people is something you should agree with your friends on. Besides, she is now attempting to argue that she had no skin in the game, and she was just arguing for the concept of free speech. But calling him a friend belies that

She has stated since day one that she disagrees with him. That's not a new development. Thankfully the cause against hate has passionate and humble warriors who know victory will be won through redemption and not retaliatory hate.https://www.npr.org/2017/08/20/544861933/how-one-man-convinced-200-ku-klux-klan-members-to-give-up-their-robes …

Hey, I remember this guy. I applauded his efforts and the impact he made on racists. Now, what does ANY of that have to do with Kathy Zhu and Nick Fuentes? Because she sure as hell wasn't trying to change his mind or that of white nationalists.

What's your basis for that? She said at the time that she disagrees with him. Also, she herself is not white. Her friendship challenges the errors of white nationalism. She and Davis stand in contrast to your approach of not befriending those who believe in racial superiority.

And what did her “friendship” get her? He won’t even defend her publicly from attacks. A few tweets ago you were taking her task for being friends with a racist. Nor you’re pretending she did it to try to change him. It’s almost as if you’re full of shit

Sometimes people get diseases they've previously been vaccinated for. Vaccines are still the most effective way of preventing disease. The friendship here didn't work, but that doesn't mean friendship isn't the best approach. And it doesn't mean limiting speech will help.

You literally advocated for ignoring people like Fuentes a few tweets ago. Now you’re pretending she became friends with him to try to change him—an obvious lie, one that she herself hasn’t even bothered coming up with. You invented it on your own, just to troll

People should ignore them as commentators. That doesn't mean we don't try to convince them of their errors. Friendship is a powerfully effective way of doing that. A friendship with Kathy is inescapably a challenge to white supremacy by nature of her race.

You’re ridiculous. Surely even you were embarrassed to write that utter horseshit. I was certainly embarrassed to read it. “Ignore them as commentators but become their friends”. “She’s challenging him by saying nothing”. Hahahahaha good Christ you’re a piece of work

How is ignoring them as commentators incompatible with forming friendships? You don't know what she said to him in private any more than I do. She may well have challenged him vocally. What we do know is what she said publicly - that she disagrees with him.
