    Peterborough is ranked 154th out of 317 local authorities for their recycling rate, with just 43.3% being recycled (including composted).

    Last week's litter picking was completed as part of a bigger group, on the outskirts of Stanground. 6 of us collected 13 bags as well as a host of other larger fly tipped items.

    Dispose of your disposable cups properly! Takeaway cups have a plastic liner which if littered, can last in the environment a lot longer then their paper wrapper, causing harm to wildlife & ecosystems.

    Social justice is you being able to acknowledge the inequalities of people that don’t look like you. Check your privilege. Create a platform for people that have none. There are some people doing it but you can do better. Always think what can you do better.
