8am and received the news that one of my once close friends (time and life got in the way) is in the ICU and the chance of survival is minimal. She's only a couple years older than I am. What a punch in the gut.

Instead of regretting, just cherish the time you did have, and tell them how important you are to them while you can (if you can). Stay strong <3
She's half the world away and they dont let non-family members in atm but I did ask our mutual friends to update me and send her family help if needed on my behalf
