http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/World_Electronic_Sports_Games_2017/Asia-Pacific … I want to point out that Thailand, Singapore, Myanmar and the Philippines have free tickets to the WESG Asian final while Vietnam has to fight a bunch of countries (including India) for a slot while we have a much stronger SC2 esport scene

but I can't call out the bullshit? I mean both Meo and Demi (and some others) are much better than the ones with free tickets and now one has to sit home?

Strike needs the free ride. They should let Demi take the Phil seed

Yeah, that's kind of trash. Well, if it's Meo and Demi in the finals, I'll donate $100 to the loser so there's some consolation. Meo's tagged so when he loses he can hold me to it

Yeah, but with SEA being such an isolated region, it's kind of a tough but to crack. I'd almost rather see no individual country seeds and just make the entire region fight for the 4 or so spots just so we know the best is there regardless of country

Yeah that would be such an obvious option, I have no idea why they did not do it and choose such a random seeding system that makes 0 sense
