      @Oessysc2 looks like the USB port I used to plug the Windows drive in before was not configured properly. I plugged it straight to the mainboard and the installation worked now.

      Yeah I think I also found that 1 of the RAM slot doesn’t work (went through and tested all the ram bars and slots) shame cuz if I want to add 2 more bars later it wont work but at least I found the root cause of the freeze now.

      Ram slot.. Refund it right now. Depending on where you bought they'll send the replacement right away and you can then just swap the parts without sending in the faulty board first. So no downtime until you can actually change it.

      probably see if they can send me another one but feeling very tired of having to reinstall the CPU fan (and also the rest of the components tbh) because the snapping mechanic is a pain in the ass to get out.
