      But western science is probably alone in drawing such a hard line between things (like 'a strawberry is not a berry', etc.). Why can't whales just be a kind of fish that has lungs? The platypus is a mammal that lays eggs so why not?

          I once overheard a toddle at a zoo* call it a "duck rat"! Awesomely cute description! *an extremely shy animal and very rarely sighted in the wild, even if you know where some live and go looking for them.
