      My favourites - Hibiki Harmony for a smooth blend, Hakushu Single Malt for a smooth malt, for peaty smokey I like Lagavulin 16... they're all like 120 AUD so I guess that's like 70 EUR?

      Oh nice, the Lagavulin 15 is definitely in the price range. The Japanese ones are slightly over but my cousin works in tax-free she can probably get them for me for a good price! Thanks for the suggestions!

      I personally prefer the Lagavulin 12 a smidge more but the 16 is very very nice. Highland Park 18 is also a very very nice well balanced bottle if you want a more all rounder bottle.

      If you want more than one bottle you can get nice stuff for lower prices. A Highland park 12, a Laphroaig 10 and an aberlour 12 will give you 3 different favour profiles for probably close to your price range total or a bit more.

      Try the aberlour a'bunadh! It's cask strength (120 proof) and a lite more vanilla/toast flavour Glenmorangie would be a nice addition too to your collection. This one is fruity tasting. I personally also like sherry/port finish. So the glenmorangie Quinta ruban is a favourite
