It's interesting to see how, in Vietnam, after 100 days of no community transmitted case of Covid-19, they found and confirmed a case today and people in the whole province immediately started wearing masks again without being told.
The local gov of that province already tested over 100 people who might have come into close or less close contact with the guy and is continuing to test, the hospital where he first went to is already put under quarantine protocol.
Vietnam is very impressive. The opposite of what I expected initially. I think their previous experience with pandemics helped them a lot because they already had the infrastructure & mindset in place.
Yeah the experience certainly helps but also the fact that people are very health-conscious & community/family-minded. The deputy prime minister did say, the gov can try all they want, but if people don't care then it'd have fallen apart.
