The problem is the more you wait the more hyped you get and it's more likely to be disappointed by the end result. Like for me I waited 13 years for Kh3 and was disappointed by it so much

Eh the Game Of Thrones TV show already got all the disappointment out, whatever we get now, no matter how much lower quality it is than the books before, is an improvement on that

Yeah I heard got season 8 Was a disaster. I stopped watching after season 2 so I was saved from that debacle

yeah it's like they cut half of the story and then completely changed the characters so only their names stay the same (sometimes not even) and then just looked up internet memes to add into the show for fan service

so yeah, even if George comes out with 1000 pages of random people walking around Westeros it's still better than whatever we were fed
