The current state of @PlayOverwatch is highly concerning and I don't think the changes coming to PTR are anywhere near enough to make the game enjoyable again.

I don't wanna be mean or anything here, just curious. But I think I've seen these kinda tweets since before last year's blizzcon from you. I don't follow Overwatch at all. Has it been so bad the whole time or has the meta shifted to a bad state after initial improvements?

I personally found the previous meta (3tanks/3supports) extremely enjoyable to play but overall it wasn't sustainable for the game and a lot of people complained (rightfully so). The big problem now - at least to me - is that every patch and hero release gives me the feeling that

the devs have no idea what they are doing. It feels like they have been lacking the ability to foresee the impact of their changes in the game. None of the heroes that were introduced (starting with Brigitte) had the intended impact on the game. Overwatch is slipping away from

them and since they have to keep some sort of integrity for OWL, they can't make the necessary changes in a timely manner, even if they had an idea of what these changes are. And this is the best case scenario but honestly the worst case scenario of the dev team being a bunch of

The writing on the wall really really point to the shit that happened with SC2 at the end of WOL and I am so damn worried cuz this time they hold a big part of SC2's fate in their hands too smh

It feels like generally speaking in all of their games, Blizzard tends to layer their tournaments and competition so narrowly throughout the year, that they get stuck in the mentality off "we can't do anything till end off year" =/

Not entirely the case for OW since they did introduce 2-2-2 lock in between OWL stages but then did barely anything to compliment that system. Then things got shitty when a new hero was introduced that completely missed the intended purpose (again!!)
