I mean you can always google by why people hate it. I’m saying just because you declare something a joke or a prank doesn’t mean it isn’t hurtful and people aren’t allowed to be hurt over it.

If a bully beat you up at school as a prank and say “lol just joking bro” doesn’t mean your pain physically and mentally automatically goes away.

Especially with the LGBTQ+ people in this day and age still suffer pain sometimes from their own fam and friends (not counting people in countries who make it a crime), joking at their expenses is just tasteless and hurtful. As if they weren’t suffering enough already.

I disagree that things shouldn't be said because they could be offensive. 'In order to think freely you have to risk offending people' Of course I'm against hate of anyone, but I also think jokes shouldn't be outlawed because they could hurt some peoples feelings.

Well that doesn’t mean you are free from the backlash. And now the backlash is here

Agreed. But I don't think being proud of being straight is being a dick.

And that goes back to the first point, the intention and harm isn’t it?
