How is #straightprideparade getting under people's skin. People should be proud whoever they are irregardless of their sexuality... That's like the whole LGBTQ+ point? I thought they would support this kind of event. Instead it's people being bitter and resentful at them. Shock.
If a bully beat you up at school as a prank and say “lol just joking bro” doesn’t mean your pain physically and mentally automatically goes away.

I'm not saying they don't have the right to be annoyed, I'm saying I don't understand WHY they are annoyed that other people are celebrating their sexuality, when they do the exact same thing! Seems very hypocritical to me.

Because as I said it is aimed as a parody of the pride events. Again, look up on google.

Especially with the LGBTQ+ people in this day and age still suffer pain sometimes from their own fam and friends (not counting people in countries who make it a crime), joking at their expenses is just tasteless and hurtful. As if they weren’t suffering enough already.

I disagree that things shouldn't be said because they could be offensive. 'In order to think freely you have to risk offending people' Of course I'm against hate of anyone, but I also think jokes shouldn't be outlawed because they could hurt some peoples feelings.
