It's tragic and great at the same time that the community can do a better job with these things than big state/sports entities - it's really not too hard. But if you're only in it for the money, and not the passion...
We are the black sheep community (even in esports, let alone sports) and do all the works but if there's some medal then they will claim it's all their vision and investment and help and and and lol At least we have the beautiful international SC2 community to fall back on.
That's why I'm sceptical of those big entities coming in, in a nutshell. They don't understand shit and expect the quick big bucks, bringing their corruption and shit with them.
man all we wanted was some press like "SC2 Vietnam brought home gold (and silver) medals" and we could attract some sponsors but gosh they don't even let us fight for the medals FOR them smh
