IDK what the Azerbaij@n gov hoped to achieve with the UEFA Cup Final bid but all this ruckus has gotten me to actually read up on the conflict between them and Armenia and it isn't pretty at all.

I'm not downplaying Azerbajan, I'm just pointing out the many shitty things that are killing football atm.
I honestly was trying to highlight my newfound knowledge about Az, comparing to their suffering (and also the atrocities committed by the people ManC is associated with as well), football dying is probably an insignificant problem. It's entertainment, at the end of the day.

Eh, no offend taken. I honestly just feel bad and helpless tbh. I already don't pay to watch the match (probably won't even watch it), so not like they care. Well at least I know where not to give my tourist money, I guess?
