IDK what the Azerbaij@n gov hoped to achieve with the UEFA Cup Final bid but all this ruckus has gotten me to actually read up on the conflict between them and Armenia and it isn't pretty at all.

? I'm referring to actual genocide and glorifying chopping people to bits here.

I know how bad they are but I don't think this should be a topic to joke about tbh

You know the City owners kidnapped and starved children so they could be used as jockeys in camal racing? They're also a part of the "war" on yemen, pretty damn close to genocide if you ask me. I'm no Azerbajan fan, but UAE/Abu Dhabi are on par if not worse.

As I said, I am aware of their shit but this is just dismissing someone's crime because someone else is doing worse. There is capability to care about more than one issue. Turning one into a joke and downplaying it is just helping it getting swiped under the rug.

Also, coming from a country with my own people being massacred before, I'd be pretty pissed off too if someone brings my people's suffering up and someone else just uses it as a punchline to mean that it isn't as significant as something else.
