Reading posts on r/CompetitiveOverwatch of people gushing about their parents not scoffing about esports, I want to shout out to my mom who not only changed her view, actually supported me going to events to make friends and also watches StarCraft2 with me occasionally.
Although she doesn't get all the nuances of the game, she actually understands the tactical aspect and she can read who's winning/losing if it's not too technical. Also, she knows some of the players (Zest, Serral, soO, the Viet players etc)
Tbf competitive overwatch would be way too complicated for her to follow lol. SC2 is a lot easier for non-players to watch.
