It's crueler for them - yes. But I still wouldn't wanna be one of those employees that got to stay - now knowing any skills or experience you have don't matter and you could be losing your job any day. Having to work with that fear so present in your mind is cruel as well
I hope with both the goodness and the pettiness of my heart that the laid-off employees get snapped up so fast and glow the hell up (especially the ones snapped up by Blizz's competitors)
