Thank you, the leader who believed in StarCraft’s potential before it flourished, standing by it when the world called it dead, flew thousands of miles to see tournaments, bought fans in studio pizza, woke up at 5AM to watch games and tweeted passionately, etc. One true king.
Even though Blizz did a few things that people deemed “killing esports” to SC, I honestly believe that the intention was good. SC just happened to be the game that encountered mistakes first and paid the heaviest prices.
But Mike is still here, and now he has more time to watch and play SC. Let us all wish him all the time in the world to watch all the sick SC tournaments and play all the sick ladder games. GLHF.
