The sample tested positive on oct 31 and we are just being told about it in nov 2nd and the place that it tested positive at continued to serve food for two days! Why is that?

The sample collected on the 31st came back on the 1st w/ a positive result for presence of E.coli. The protocol requires a 2nd test, in part, to rule out false positives. That test also takes 18-22 hours. The earliest the result could return, & did, was @ 9:30 am today.
