I don’t think independents are the deciders, especially when we know there’s more Dems than Reps so Rs need culture wars and suppression to catch up. I dunno. The electoral college makes the outcome in a few states determinative. Last election we lost it by 77k votes split between three states. Hard to imagine there weren’t 77k Independent votes that swung for Trump.
