1/"We should ask questions about whether a mass killing in defence of the patriarchy is indeed terrorism."
Dear @vmochama, what you have said above displays a profound ignorance as to the nature of the Incel groups.

2/Incels are nihilists. They hate men even more than women (observe how Rodger killed more men than women, even if the media ignored that fact). These surface similarities give us no information beyond what we already know - that young disenfranchised men are prone to violence.

Yes I do. I discovered them a few years back on Reddit and I was horrified. I've been following them closely because they represent a legitimate threat for random massive violence. PS. I'm not unaware you were just attempting to insinuate something. But whatever.

Lotta people in this thread seem to be COMPLETELY missing the point. High-status males (the ones radical intersectionals seem to rail against as patriarchal) aren't the ones being radicalized. They're usually the prime targets of the low-status radicals (referred to as 'Chads')
-
Exactly. Like I said above, Eliot Rodger killed more men than women, and not a single news outlet noted that, and it was the key to understanding him. Its the men that they see as the real oppressor. The men who are too masculine for them to compete with (in their eyes).

All of us? Really?

I'm not taking it personal that you say "all men," because we don't know each other. But I wanted to say, as a liberal gay man, that saying that is no different from saying "all black people" "or all gay people," an extreme generalization.
-
Yes, there is a sizeable portion of men who are disgusting losers who don't realize that why they can't get laid is because they are pieces of angry misogynistic shit. Nobody needs to attribute an issue to every member of a gender, race, religion, or sexuality.
-
I don't believe it benefits your position, which is a rightful position that these behaviors need called out extensively. You ARE on the right side of the argument and it doesn't behoove you to say things that make you sound like the people you are fighting against.

Part and parcel of misogyny, sexual assault, lower pay, glass ceilings, domestic violence, raising children alone. All perpetrated by males. You're just noticing now? Discuss amongst yourselves.

She struck a nerve, huh? Hahahahaha

:) I noticed the cat pic and the man-hating and couldn't resist.

It never fails to amaze me that the same people who play idpol when an outgroup member speak, are just fine speaking about those same outgroups. Further, why does anyone take Mochama seriously? She's proven enough times she's a blathering ideologue.
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

The internet breeds extremism in those susceptible to it. Simple as that.
-
Agreed, it's not a phenomenon limited to males or the alt-right. As you said, people who are susceptible to it.
