Is there any reason to do this instead of just j.236B ende4 into run up 1 and wait for opponent to either enter blockstun from projectile or throw out dp on block?

Hmm, there are a few reasons, 1: Puts them into blockstun if they block the overhead 2: Adds a little more damage 3: If you see them delay tech in response to it, you can throw out j.236B as well 4. Not too risky
