Trumpism is a disease. Women and people of color are the cure.

Sorry. She risked first responders lives for her message. So many other ways to do this. And no ,I don’t support Trump.
-
Yes, you’re right but sometimes we have to do bold and dangerous things to be heard. It was worth it.
-
Sorry ,guess because my son is a police officer, I see that side. Can’t change my mind as this gal could have used many other means to get her message across.
-
Desperate times can for desperate measures. How much more desperate can this situation become? Would you say the same if your son was sent down to the border to enforce this made up problem of children being gang members? So many resources and $ squandered. Pure hypocrisy.

Can’t say I agree. She may have made a statement, but people planned trips and bought tickets to get to witness the sign of our Liberty and she infringed on their rights with her protest. They are innocent bystanders in this...how are they made whole?
-
Protest > a tourist's right to not be shook
-
You are entitled to your opinion and I respect you for it. I’m not against the right to protest.
-
Thank you. May I ask if you value the right to protest higher than that of a consumer to get the promised experience they paid for? Let's put aside protesting atop our symbol of liberty.
-
I don’t want to characterize going to visit the Statue of Liberty as simply a consumer experience as I feel it’s more than that. I consider The Boston Tea Party an example of protest that rightfully disrupted consumer experience. My point is that it depends on the situation.
-
And in this situation, you feel she was wrong to protest in the manner she chose? I agree the Statue of Liberty is more than simply a consumer experience, but when someone is showing us what liberty means for them in such a symbolic way, I don't feel right in condemning them.
-
I didn’t condemn. I stated I don’t agree with the hero status given. I honor her right to protest and am proud she is brave enough to do so, but she may have infringed on the rights of people who agree with her principles and wanted to view the symbol of freedom the Statue is.
-
If they wanted to view the symbol of freedom the Statue is, they got a good look. If they're upset she was there, I don't think they agreed with her principles. Not if they balk about her later.

Where in the city did "antifa scum" start the riot?

Yeah Dan, enlighten some hard hitting details and facts. Not just your tired “what about Obama” and “antifa scum” lines.
