It has been a joy getting back into the Hillsborough County 2nd grade classrooms with our reading program. We missed a year due to the Covid outbreak but we are enjoying seeing the students again. Thank you Dunbar & BT Washington for your hospitality!

Rather than saying they were wrong on the DJ Moore penalty I think they just sent out a memo to not call removing the helmet penalties anymore.

Couldn’t agree with you more Sometimes score, time remaining, opponent, and common sense need to take precedence over hypothetical numbers.

How many times will we see “analytics” get in the way of a team taking momentum & control of a game… SMH it’s a game of feel, not of numbers IMHO!

Carrollwood Day School Middle School basketball team got a nice win today over Cambridge Christian. Jason played some nice two way ball—hustling on both ends of the floor. Good job Patriots!

I guess this isn’t as bad as taking your helmet off and celebrating a touchdown???
Quote Tweet
Hey @TonyDungy, didn't DJ Moore get shafted for taking his helmet off earlier this year? Definitely don't remember him bumping an official. Thanks for your service. twitter.com/NFL_DovKleiman…

I said on our pregame show Justin Herbert would have to be Superman tonight for the Chargers to win. They have had a tremendous game plan on offense and defense but Herbert has been Superman! Just outstanding dealing with the Dolphins pressure package.

Was I ever wrong on this one. 49ers offense was hitting on all cylinders. Brock Purdy played with poise and was outstanding. San Francisco D smothered the Bucs all night. 49ers are starting to roll.

In the late window the big game is Bucs at 49ers. Bucs didn’t look great last week and SF D held Miami down but I think Tom Brady bounces back with a big game playing in his home area. I also think the Bucs D will make it tough on Brock Purdy. This game will be a tight one.

Our game has the Dolphins visiting the Chargers. Tua & the Dolphins O were a little bit off last week but they are very explosive. Chargers are missing some key defensive players so it’s going to be up to Justin Herbert and the offense to play great. Tune in at 7:00 pm

Giants need a win against the Eagles but it’s going to be tough. Philly is playing great-I think Jalen Hurts and the O are going to put up a ton of points. Giants are going to need Daniel Jones to make plays running and throwing to stay in it. I think he will but Eagles win it

There are some big games on the NFL schedule for Week 14. Weather could be a factor for Jets-Buffalo—Jets ran the ball well in their first game and Josh Allen had a couple of poor decisions that helped the Jets win. I like Buffalo to bounce back today.

My Bible reading this morning opened with Psalm 136:1 and that was my thought as I started my walk. I should thank God for His love & mercy that has been with me my whole life. So as I walked I tried to count my blessings and give thanks to the Lord. It was a beautiful exercise🙏🏽

For King and Country put on a great show tonight. A Christmas concert and they told the gospel story with their music. I’m thankful they gave everyone an understanding of what we are celebrating and exactly why Jesus was born. #CHRISTmas

We are so excited to be at the For King and Country concert tonight. What a blessing to hear these guys perform. And it was a real treat for our family to get to hang out with Luke and Joel before the show. They are not only super talented but tremendous men of God.

That’s huge news for the Chargers. Mike Williams such a big part of their offense. Looking forward to watching him Sunday night against the high pressure Miami D.

Chargers’ WR Mike Williams was upgraded from limited participant in practice Wednesday to full participant today.

Every week we see things like this. I ask myself the same questions. Some things in football just don’t seem that hard—common sense might say protect the end zone with a 6 point lead???

We (the Colts) got killed in the post draft grades for taking Dwight “too high”. How can you take a 6’ tall defensive end at No. 11? I think Bill Polian knew what he was doing.

Yes sir You are absolutely right. Tua wasn’t himself and if he hits his open receivers they have 150 more yards of offense. I look for him to have a bounce back game versus the Chargers on

On paper it might've looked like the 49ers D shut down the Dolphins O. Definitely not the case. Walked away thinking better of the Dolphins than I had before. Mike McDaniel had guys wide open all day. Havent seen the SF defense exposed like that in a long time

Why today? What do they gain by making this change now in the middle of another playoff run? Did they just figure out last night they didn’t like the direction of their roster?
Quote Tweet
My understanding is #Titans brass wasn't happy with the direction of the roster assembled by Jon Robinson and decided to make a change, despite leading the AFC South. He was under contract through the 2027 draft, and walks away with another four years' pay.

Somebody will have to tell me what the Saints were thinking in the last 5 minutes of the game. Running out of bounds short of first down, throwing INC on 3rd-1, single covering Evans for 40 yd pass interference, 2nd down sack. Very strange decision making????

In 1999 I was with the Bucs and our first two QBs got hurt. We inserted rookie Shaun King into the lineup. He did a great job. We relied on run game and defense and won 6 straight—went to the NFC Championship game. 49ers and Brock Purdy can do the same thing.

Tough break for JG coach! I wish him a speedy recovery. I can’t recall any rookie successfully adjusting in a similar situation to Purdy’s.

The San Francisco 49ers have been playing great football. Their D has been outstanding and Christian McCaffrey has added a spark to their offense. But losing Jimmy G for the year is a big blow. Rookie Brock Purdy played well today but he will have a lot on his shoulders now.

Big weekend for the Buffalo Bills. They beat New England on Thursday and saw the Jets, Miami, and Kansas City lose today. That vaults the Bills into the #1 position in the AFC.

In our game tonight a lot of people will see this as an easy win for the Cowboys over the Colts. But tune in at 7:00 pm and we’ll tell you how the Colts can get a win. It won’t be easy but there is a formula.

Jalen Hurts is playing some great football this year and he is continuing today. 15 completions in the first half for 215 yards and a rushing TD has the Eagles up by 11.

The late window has two huge games. Miami with a hot offense going against a great 49ers D. I always take the D in these games. Chiefs visit Cinn and there will be a ton of points scored. Logic tells me Cinn at home but Mahomes has been great at beating the odds lately.

Washington-Giants is a big game in the NFC East. I think Washington’s D will be the difference in a win for them. Jet-Minn should be a great game. Will the Jets pass rush be able to limit Cousins and his receivers. I don’t think so.

We have a great schedule Week 13 in the NFL. Early game I’ll be looking at Tenn-Phil. Will the revamped Eagles run D hold up against Henry? Can Mike Vrabel come up with a plan to stop Jalen Hurts and his skill position weapons? I like Philadelphia in this matchup.

Pastor Hal Mayer kicked off the Christmas series with the story of John the Baptist’s birth. He made 3 points to help us in our life journey. 1. Don’t tell God what He can’t do. 2. Do what God tells us to do. 3. Live differently than the world does. Great reminders.

Correct call by rule. But this all started with Calvin Johnson’s catch in 2010 that was called no catch. If NFL had just said “We were wrong. That should have been a TD” We wouldn’t have all this now. We’ve spent 12 years trying to codify and justify that call. What is a catch???

This Jordan Poyer interception was called back. Thoughts? 🤔

I agree. Defender’s plan is to hit with his shoulder to try to dislodge the ball. Receiver drops his head to complete the catch. Contact to the head and neck area happens. By rule it is a penalty. But an ejection? This was not a premeditated dirty play.

The Bengals were very impressive today. They controlled the LOS against Tennessee in both sides of the ball. Great protection for Burrow all day and no running room for Henry at all.
Quote Tweet
The big afternoon game I’m looking at is Cinn at Tenn. I’ll be anxious to see the line play. Can the Bengals D line clamp down on Derrick Henry? Can the Titans D line pressure Joe Burrow? I like the Titans at home.
