  1. . I favour carbon taxes, and especially with rebates going back to Canadians. I can see why federal rebates going into the pockets of Ontarians would upset Premier Ford. He prefers to legislate away planned minimum wage increases for low wage workers

  2. The Ford government claims that eliminating the Jan 1 minimum wage increase will save jobs - In fact the previous MW increase to $14/hour resulted in INCREASED employment in low wage sectors. Let’s face it, this is the Government for Business, not people.

  3. The business case for partial privatization was that the company would grow and increase public shareholder value. Opportunities for expansion are mostly limited to the US. This was seen as a sound business move and is obviously also being supported by the new board and govt
