We're in it to push for our ideas and to make the country better, not deposits. We're good after last night, if poorer!

Labour/LD/SNP/Plaid/Greens = 52.7% of vote, Tory/DUP/UKIP = 45.1%. Some 40 Tory seats where Tory vote less than progressive vote share.

Ironic if increase in Sinn Fein seats leads to increased leverage for DUP because of Sinn Fein refusing to sit in Commons

  8. 10h

Yep, worth noting there were nearly 40 results last night where Tory margin of victory over progressive party less than that of party in 3rd

Agree, Sinn Fein not taking their seats means a Con/DUP pact could form a majority government so absolutely critical

If I lose just six seats I will lose this election and Jeremy Corbyn will be sitting down to negotiate with Europe:

Think Sinn Fein gaining 3 seats in Northern Ireland slightly changes mathematics of seats needed for parliamentary majority. Now 322 not 326

Feeling pretty gutted but so proud of the campaign we ran and take comfort from the amazing way young people have rejected the Tories
