Its ok that your account has been terminated you are an American citizen. Maybe you should contact Bitmex and tell them that they can block your account from trading there but you will just use it for affiliates. You will be using your account for promoting and affiliates income.

Tried, no dice

Aah they just too scared from SEC taking no risk at all. Shame, anyway good luck!
-
That does not matter, regular people would never be used for the case, the way 1Broker went down is an SEC agent simply made an account there and made a few trades that were recorded and documented.
-
One of the Tezos lawsuits is moving forward bc the judge thought the facts that the founders were living in CA, the ICO site was hosted in AZ and most of ETH's nodes are in US made it a US-based sale of a security The SEC won't only use first-hand data they get from their agents

from watching your videos ..you are somewhat a traveller and not a resident of the US for most of the year as you are travelling, so I don't think they can cut you on "resident of the USA" as you are more nomadic than resident anywhere. Hope you get you compensated your $ s
-
In 2018, I probably spent 30 days in the USA
-
Yes, exactly..I think you are not a resident of the USA in reality. I never realised you live there. I don't think you do live there. And I watch all your youtube content so how do they decide you are a US resident?
-
I have been in US about 30 days this year
-
What does your passport say? US citizen? There it is unfortunately no matter how long your out the country

-
citizen and resident are not the same thing. Bitmex needed to make it clear. It seemed US citizens who are not resident in the US are unfairly punished
-
SEC does not enforce laws for US “residents” it enforces laws on behalf of US citizens. Exchanges are barred from offering services to US citizens without registering appropriately with the SEC regardless of physical location. Same with unregisteted securities.
-
And resident aliens who are required to pay taxes. So US citizen with global reach, Resident alien with domestic reach.

So just to confirm you’ve said in 2017 you’ll always charge .1 bitcoin no matter what. But when the price was 19k you weren’t discounting your services. Now you’re changing your mind. So what happens when you raise the price to .2 btc and btc goes to 50k?
-
let's both be surprised
-
Thats funny... Anyways these exchanges are shady Tone, ALL of them.
