It is the fiduciary obligation of every fund manager to divest from all fossil fuel related companies - that includes the banks that loan to them. For either: a) Government will represent the interests of the people in quickly driving fossil fuel use to zero.
Or b) Government will continue to represent the interests of the fossil fuel industry - pretty quickly driving the human population to zero. In which case there will be no one to approve the fund managers' bonuses.
