Some law school professors have been hanging out in the gilded pig-sty of the Federalist Society. Imbibing the treasonous Sophistry thereof they stumble over 'Can a President Pardon himself?' Is anyone above the law? Is this a dictatorship? These are the same question.
Slightly more difficult: Can a President, or Governor, Pardon crimes they have importuned? Of course not! The effect is the same. Common law was commonly understood by our Founding Fathers. They did not create a dictatorship.
