      Militarizing the police force has led to aggressive enforcement of the law in communities with low-income and people of color. Demilitarizing the police force will allow for trust and legitimacy surrounding the police force to be established once again.

      These are laws that nullify evidence and allow for investigations into police matters to be conducted internally, effectively giving police officers the license to kill with little worry about being charged and convicted.
