18 years ago today I was an engineer in a small company in Ocala. Actually I was 'the engineer', meaning I sat in my office, seldom coming out, writing mathematical code to evaluate product performance. That day someone knocked on my door. Asked if I knew of "the attack".
What? Led me out to a silent gathering around a TV - just as they replayed the 1st jet flying into the World Trade Center. I opened my mouth to ask - something - but my heart already knew too much. And only tears came out. #NeverForget
