There's a breakdown in Washington DC, and I don't mean just Donald Trump. I'm talking about corporate money and our broken political system.

Through the important work of
@NextGenAmerica and@Need2Impeach, which I will continue to support, I've focused on registering & turning out the#youthvote, and pressuring Congress to hold this president accountable by beginning impeachment proceedings. But it's not enough.Show this thread -
Our country has been corrupted––openly––while politicians put corporate profits over the needs of their constituents, and focus on getting re-elected over doing what’s right. I’ve taken on corporations and WON by going directly to the people. And I know we can do it again.

When we come together, we can never be defeated. We can fix our democracy, and make sure it works for ALL Americans. We can elect new leaders at the local, state, and federal level. We can take back the Senate. But we can only do it together.

Let’s take our democracy back from corporations and special interests, and give it to the people––the way it was always intended. I'm excited to meet you on the campaign trail soon. Join us athttp://tomsteyer.com

Please don’t. Use your considerable wealth to help mobilize voters to unseat Trump in the election.

Tom, not a good move. Your time, energy and money is needed to get Dems elected on local, state and federal levels. Don't be like Howard Schultz and run because of your ego. We have more than enough qualified candidates who have real experience.

Apprecciate your fervent desire to make #45 a 1 term president. Appreciate what you’ve thus far have done. But why not put your $ behind whoever will be the democratic nominee. Too many people in the race now. Many should exit the race now.

I’m am disgusted by all the egos who don’t recognize it’s all hands on deck to remove the moron from office and flip the Senate to save us. Instead they’re running for president. I guess they think anyone can win once the moron was elected.
