person would do RRS once or more a day - and it is not possible to 'reasonably adapt' your behaviour - then by the rules you can't do it. This is unfortunately hard to prove. (Finally on a long-term award of high elements of PIP)

I'm slightly confused why an assessor was at her home assessing her if she had already been awarded PIP? I'm not disagreeing that it's awful what this poor lady has had to go through and I honestly wish her well. I'm just trying to understand the system better

Most people receiving PIP are awarded it for a set length if time, often 1- 3 years. About 6 months before the award runs out you start the process of assessment again. Despite no change or even deterioration, people can be reassessed as ineligible for any award.

Same thing happened to me. Took it all the way to Tribunal and a rep from DWP turned up to say I should never have been refused in the first place and he had no objections to my appeal. DWP blocked my appeal at 3 different stages before the Tribunal though
