    Excited to share our new paper on the evolution of fin dermal skeleton prior to the fin-to-limb transition! We CT scanned fossils to describe the structure and diversity of fin rays in several key species. For example, the pectoral fin of Tiktaalik (below)

    Quite possibly the fattest echidna we have ever seen!! 😝 This fine lady was clipped by a car, but luckily only had a couple of minor bruises! She has now been released 🙂 How gorgeous is she?! 😍 (She is sedated in this photo by the way!)
