Torture wouldn’t have stopped 9/11. In fact, as people experienced with torture say, it would make it more likely.

It’s certainly been widely reported that valuable info was extracted from these terrorists. This includes info that helped lead to Bin Laden.

It’s been a while, and I need to relook that over, but I remember that evidence being debunked. Even Mattis is against torture, as was Petraeus.

I cannot help but feel that when dealing with someone whose goal is to kill thousands of Americans, we should do whatever is necessary to stop them. These aren’t common criminals, they’re religious fanatics who are dedicated to destroying America.

Do you people ever speak to each other or just tweet out the I’m better than you messages? Way to stomp on someone in your own party. That’ll help at election time.

Short Answer, because with Republicans like him and McCain we can't never get things done. Dems get take majorities and Immediately go Nuclear to push through dumb legislation like Obamacare. They capitulated to Dems for 8 yrs under Obama, now they're in charge and still losing.

The Republicans have much bigger problems. They’re in jeopardy of losing the House this year. I think they should be far more concerned about that than Rand Paul. Not to mention that Trump’s approval rating is historically low.

There’s no hope. If these republicans wanna take the word of the guy that formerly served as the C.I.A.'s deputy and acting director under President Obama as gospel then let them.

I’m honestly more worried about Bolton being NSA. I’m afraid of the Hawkish foreign policy.
