#HR1 would disrupt and infringe upon the role states play in conducting their own elections. While some states are clearly more successful than others, it is alarming that Democrats want to force our 50 separate and unique states to operate under the same guidelines.
In Oklahoma, where our election system is seen as highly successful and widely recognized, #HR1's proposed mandates would needlessly increase the cost of elections statewide and in every county.
Representative Cole, I would have thought that you would appreciate the opportunity to be accountable to your constituents, of which I'm one. 90% of your campaign contributions come from somewhere other than individuals. That leaves you on the hook to them. Not me. Disappointed.
I’m happy to see your concern with our election system. Though I don’t agree with your position. To better our election system here however, would you be in favor of moving polling sites to secular locations to appeal to all voters?
