Despite claims to the contrary, Republicans are not pushing to eliminate mandatory programs or to senselessly cut the benefits promised to program participants. But without thoughtful reform, these programs will eventually fail to deliver. Read more

Reform should not mean cutting benefits for those who have EARNED them and are in need. Restructuring the tax code where we ALL pay our fair share is a great start. SS coffer feeds itself. Let's at least TRY to be fair!
