If some autist wants to actually do the math of dividing the top 1%'s wealth amongst 99% of the population (around 325 million)- I'd love to see what it amounts to.

Exactly. Totally liquidating the top 1% would yield about $120k for each American, that’s a lot of money but nowhere near worth destroying society for We should just change our system so that future wealth is easier for the middle class to capture

Trying to find the claims that the bailout + iraq cost more per capita than that. It's basically an equal recompense for the us debt per capita which is "In 2017... around 62,034 U.S. dollars per capita."

To me the issue isn’t the top 1% having so much wealth, it’s the bottom ~50% having so little. Obviously some of this is self inflicted, but still...leftists aren’t wrong that most newly created wealth gets captured by the top
