So the panning of the skyline is kind of a fakey aspect to give perspective & context. See that a lot in these You Tube UFO videos. If I spot a black triangle I'm not taking my eyes off of it for one second. Also lucky this person was using a tripod to steady the camera/phone.

Not true. One of the first rules of shooting a ufo is to also capture the horizon and some depth/background context so we have an idea of where we are and what FoV we are looking through.
