Is there any good standalone program just for rigging? Especially for good weight painting and other weighting techniques. Blender is terrible in weight painting and UVs. For UVs I have RizomUV which is heaven compared to Blender UV hell. Where is rigging heaven? #b3d #gameart

A workaround for this is to click the stash button in each action and then rename the bone which then makes it take over into the actions. Then you probably want to delete the stashed versions again

This shit is also crazy to me because there is no real way to find out what is happening. When you changed a bone name at some point Blender just does not export all your actions anymore, how would you know?

You have to rename each of these for every single action for every single renamed bone! Everyone has been doing that for the last 10 years?? I feel like I'm going a bit crazy here! #b3d

The bug with Blender getting all confused when you rename a bone that is already used with an animation has been reported 10 years ago and never been fixed 💀 #b3d

Changed the bone name back and export works again! Are you not suppose to be able to change bone names after something is animated? 💀 #b3d

It seems I somehow corrupted my rig (possibly with changeing a bone name) because when I Append the rig in a new scene I also only get the current active action

Does anyone happen to know why Blender FBX would only export the current active Action even though All Actions is on in export settings? #b3d

The thing is there is no abort in Blender, only force quit Blender and loose your work. If Zbrush calculates for too long I can press ESC and it aborts

I just found upping the Precision of the Mesh Deform modifier is brutal

There are so many sliders in Blender that lets you freeze the program for minutes, possible hours. There is a game in here where you compete for freezing a coworker the longest #b3d
