Has to be one of the greatest events I've ever witnessed. Watching this juvenile Goshawk catch a Redshank and proceed to eat it's prey in front of myself and whilst birding in North Wales today! Absolutely crazy!!!

The secretarybird of sub-Saharan Africa gets its name from its crest, which resembles the quill pens that office workers of yesteryear tucked behind their ears. The bird prefers walking over flying, and may even travel 20 miles per day! 📸 by Keven Law

Thousands of btgodwits using estuary rice-fields right now! This wetland in the East Atlantic Flyway is a major int. hub for , not airplanes. Placing an airport in this estuary is immoral!

We made our first visit to Frampton Marshes today. It was full of birds! The wind was challenging but the light was beautiful and there was so much to look at. 55 Whooper Swans, Spotted Redshank and thousands of Golden Plover (14,000 on the board!).
