Why does my email have to be shown to someone who steals my video if I request a video takedown @TeamYouTube? It's a private email, and the last people I want to leak it to are people stealing my content.

Thanks for reaching out. We recommend getting in touch with our Copyright team as they will help you further with the info about the strike on the channel. Here's how: https://yt.be/help/jkgd . Hope this gets resolved.

I don't have a strike. I just wish I could choose an alternative email to use for my claims. Why should people I am claiming see my personal email?

Because YouTube doesn’t want to be liable for withholding legal information but can’t say that. So they *shrug* and hope it works out
