I like to focus on what matters: company research, and reading investing books/letters/memos. All of the following is a complete waste of time, and should be avoided: 1. Reading market news 2. Reading macroeconomic forecasts 3. Checking your stocks any more than once per week
I don't buy or sell news, so getting updated on a weekly basis is more than enough. I only check my stocks on Mondays, after hours (via an app). After hours removes any potential call to action which might result in regret. @GSpier's book contains great behavioral tips re this.

Thanks. Interesting. I am too passionate to not follow news often, but I do not trade on it, I need to set up something to aggregate all news without necessarily opening the stock app. my stocks are on all continents so not easy.
