Contracting in the meantime is a possibility. An intra-company transfer would also be a good bet. Doing an international MBA is another option, but we're talking $69-100K per year. Lastly, an O visa (person of recognized extraordinary ability) I definitely wouldn't qualify for.

I was thinking of the L1-B, intra-company transfer. One of my college friends uses that instead of H1-B.
