Well it's not like YouTube is under contract with every creator. Creators make the choice to do it full time. It's like freelance art, who is to blame if you don't make a good income? No one because it's an unstable career path.

I'm not talking about YouTube ensuring income, I'm talking about wanting them to not actively hinder it. It doesn't instill much confidence in the platform for content creators when you're at the mercy of a temperamental faceless entity.

youtube isnt here to make money, its more about controlling the narrative and the way people think. if they want to make something popular they put it in the whats hot or trending page. i follow like 50 conspiracy channels but somehow only gaming shit pops up and i follow only 2.
